HighFly is a project tracking and management platform built for high-performance teams that connects tasks to real development work through GitHub sync and automations.

When you connect a repo, HighFly lets you link work to tasks and can update task status based on pull request activity like opens, reviews, and merges.

Yes, HighFly is a lighter, developer-first alternative focused on staying close to GitHub and the IDE, especially if you want fewer manual updates and less tool overhead.

HighFly has native support for segmenting work through projects. Software agencies can create one project per client, assign the right team, and keep work separated while staying in one tool.

It lets you view and manage HighFly issues in your sidebar. The extension also detects TODOs and lets you convert them into HighFly issues in one click, capturing the surrounding code context automatically in the new HighFly issue.

HighFly supports migration from GitHub and Trello through our two-way GitHub issues sync integration and Trello import flow. We are actively adding more migrations and are open to suggestions.

HighFly is best for small- to mid-sized dev teams, agencies, and OSS maintainers who live in GitHub and their editor. If you need heavy enterprise workflows, custom fields everywhere, or layers of approval, look elsewhere.
